I was very happy to find that that Whitcoulls in NZ sell an own-brand* copy of the Moleskine notebook. Sure, it doesn’t have the name embossed and has a few less pages but at $12.99, they are a whole $29 cheaper than the real thing costs at my favourite bookshop, Time Out in Mt Eden.

* Actually branded ‘WHSmith’, after the UK retailer who sold Whitcoulls to REDgroup Retail but presumably still supply stock items.
